Aizawl FC coach, Gift Raikhan said that his team played well and matched Real Kashmir in every department but failure to convert chances hurt them. “We played well and matched them in every department. We made our chances but failure to convert them into goal hurt us. We got open chances and should have converted them into goals,” said Aizawl coach in post match press briefing.

He said that both teams fought hard and played fighting game and no one dominated either. “We fought well against a fighting team like Real Kashmir. It is not like they dominated us. They just got one open chance which they converted into goal while as we too got the chances but failed. They have different style of play. They play long balls and have physical presence. We did go out to match them in every department,” he said.

Sending a clear warning to Real Kashmir FC, Aizawl FC coach said that they will now have to play in Mizoram. “We came here played well and endured all kind of pressure. We were unlucky to miss our chances while as they took when they got it. It was away game and now Real Kashmir will have to travel and play against us on our home turf. It is not going to be easy for them,” he said.
