National Conference Youth Wing President, Salman Sagar on Sunday flagged off 430-kilometer Srinagar to Leh cycling event in which four riders including Dr Amin, Mehraj Qayoom, Amir Asad and Mushtaq Ahmad are participating. The event is organized by Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association.        

Sagar who is also the Chairman - Common Cause Trust flagged-off the event from Hotel Comrade Inn Rajbagh. 

The group completed its first stage by covering distance from Srinagar to Sonamarg on first day of tour in 2 hours 56 minutes. The group intends to cover distance of 430 kilometer distance in 20 hours and in the second phase, on Monday the group is set to ride from Sonamarg to Kargil.
