In boys section, Manjeet Kumar from Kathua bagged silver while as Liyaqat Ali from Kathua and Zakir from Shopian bagged bronze medals.

In the 63rd National School Games for Belt Wrestling championship in Under-19 category for both boys and girls, J&K players have bagged five medals.

The event was held at Telangana Hyderabad and was conducted by School Games Federation of India. In girls section Suriya Yaqub from Girls Higher Secondary School Kothibagh and Insha from Kulgam bagged bronze medals for the team. 

In boys section, Manjeet Kumar from Kathua bagged silver while as Liyaqat Ali from Kathua and Zakir from Shopian bagged bronze medals.

The J&K team players have thanked Department of Youth Services and Sports for providing them with all the facilities.
