Several kanal of land of Government Higher Secondary School Palangarh has been allegedly encroached upon by some influential families, after which the students of school are up in arms against the authorities for failing to retrieve the land.

While talking to Greater Kashmir, the students alleged, “The land under the school is quite large on paper, but on the ground, the school has only two kanals.”

They said that due to illegal encroachments, they are unable to move to the laboratory easily and they have to take a longer route.
