Army Porter Missing Case: Investigating team visits spot, questioning on

In the case of mysterious missing of an army porter from Line of Control in Keri area of Rajouri, who went missing on 14th August, an investigation team of Rajouri police recently visited the high profile security area near LoC and questioned the guard deployed there  on the day when porter went missing.

Sources to Greater Kashmir said army authorities are now extending proper cooperation to police and a team of Rajouri police under the supervision of SSP Rajouri visited the LoC area from where porter went missing.

" Team of police accessed the area and conducted spot investigation " said sources.  

They added that phase wise questioning of security force men, who were deployed on the said location from where porter went missing, has also been started.

" However, nothing concrete has come out in questioning and there is no whereabout of the missing porter " said sources.

"Investigation team is probing the matter from all possible angles with crossing of porter to the other side suspected to be on the higher side " sources further added.

SSP Rajouri, Yougal Manhas told Greater Kashmir that investigation into the case is going on from all possible angles.

"Our investigation teams also visited the site a couple of times and any development in the case will be shared " SSP added.  

Pertinently a porter Safeer Ahmed son of Muhammad Kabir, of Pathana Tir village of Mendhar Poonch, working with army went missing from LoC forward location after which police started investigation and than a case FIR 436/2017 US 364, 343, 109 RPC was registered recently against two army units and one BSF unit.
