Qazi Yasir leads protest march in Shopian

The chairman of Ummat-e-Islami, Mirwaiz Qazi Ahmed Yasir today lead a protest rally in Shopian town against civilian killings. 

“The rally taken out from Jamia Masjid of Shopian was joined by hundreds of people who raised pro-freedom slogans,” UeI spokesperson said in a statement.  

Mirwaiz Yasir denounced the killing spree saying “New Delhi has declared a war against every Kashmiri.” 

Mirwaiz Yasir while paying rich tributes to Dr. Qazi Nisar on his martyrdom anniversary said “the best tribute to pay to martyrs is to work for their cause.” He reiterated the shutdown call for June 19 for south Kashmir.  

Meanwhile, Jammu Kashmir National Front chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan paid tributes to Dr Qazi Nisar Ahmad on his death anniversary.
