35 structures gutted in fire in Gurez in north Kashmir

Thirty five structures were gutted in a massive blaze in Kilshey area of Gurez valley in north Kashmir's Bandipora district on Saturday.

An official said that fire engulfed Kilshey village today morning. "35 structures have been gutted in the fire. The fire has been brought under control. The cause of fire is yet to be known," he said.

Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Sajad Hussain told Greater Kashmir that as per initial reports 30-35 structures have been gutted in the fire.

"Local administration has reached to the spot and relief material under Red Cross has been dispatched to the area," he said.

There was no immediate report of any immediate loss to life.
