RAMADHAN CEASEFIRE| Won't tolerate unilateral decisions anymore: Kavinder Gupta

The Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta today said that the BJP might have committed some mistakes in the past but now it will not allow “any particular person” in the government to take unilateral decision.

“We are 50 percent partners in the coalition government,” Gupta said while addressing party during a function organized at party headquarters to welcome new state president Ravinder Raina. “Our ministers might have committed some mistakes in the last three years and we will not repeat them.”

Gupta said Rasana incident was unfortunate. “Our ministers had to resign,” he said.

The BJP ministers, Gupta said, met the party leader Ashok Kaul Wednesday to discuss future strategy.

He also said that the ceasefire is for peace but the center has already made it clear that “forces will give befitting reply if attacked”.

Gupta said that the party got the mandate from Jammu region but now it is in government and all regions -Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh - are its priority.

"We are working on mission 44 plus and will achieve that in next assembly elections,” he said.
