BJP-PDP failed to maintain law and order: Bhalla

Former minister and senior Congress leader, Raman Bhalla today accused the BJP-PDP coalition government of failing to maintain law and order in the state.

He also said that BJP-PDP government has failed to provide even basic amenities to the people like ration, water and power.

As per a press note, Bhalla, while addressing public gathering at Qasim Nagar, Bhalla said that the state coalition government has miserably failed to take tough decisions necessary to address people’s problems.

Commenting on reports of sporadic violence in Srinagar, the waving of Pakistani flags and incidents of stone pelting, Bhalla said such events were taking place because of the state administration’s inability to maintain law and order.

He expressed concern over the “deteriorating law and order” situation in the valley, saying it was a result of “wrong policies” of the ruling PDP-BJP dispensation in the state.

Appealing for peace and harmony in Jammu and Kashmir, he said that it was the responsibility of the Centre and the PDP-BJP coalition government in the state to ensure law and order. GKNN
